I saw her on the Shelter website and I fell in love!

She is one month old.

My husband said I could not have her, but I said I will!

Look who I brought home!

Isn't she the cutest?

She is comfortable and at home now!

Well it is Christmas time and she is now 7 months and

The best friend in the world!

Full of energy and fun!

She truly is a Keeper!

Fall is here it is offical, the colors are popping!

And what beautiful colors they are!

Even the Blueberry bush has a new outfit of color.

The path through the trees tells the story of another season ending

And  a new one beginning!



My granddaughter is 10 and she took a lot of photos when

we went Rving(camping) on our favorite Island.

    I am not sure but I think we may have a little 

Photographer on our hands

     

 She really knows how to capture the shot,

 and at the age of 10!

Rather well done don't you think?

Even a rainy day of Camping is better then a hard day at work!

It may be misty with rain and foggy, but to be out in nature is wonderful!

So head out and enjoy the day,the fresh air, the warm temps,the scenery!

Is this a fire getting out of control?

It sure looks like a fire out of control!

But upon a closer look,

 it is just steam and lights at a local factory.

Amazing how light can play tricks with our eyes!

Frost

Have you ever really looked at the frost on the window?

Frost can be tight together like the first picture,

or clumped together as this photo shows.

Then the frost recreates it's self!

And a pattern begins.

And the beauiful master piece becomes finished!

Like branches or ferns of feathers on the window.

Have you ever really looked at Frost?

Ok, so the holidays are over!

And all the

fattening desserts have past.

Now is the time to start those

"NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS"!

I have decided this year

would be a good year to start exercising.

Wish me luck!

I have joined Planet Fitness, and I am going to try hard to

become more fit,we shall see!

Christmas Tree

I had the pleasure this holiday season to spend

Christmas with my daughters and enjoy their Trees

for Christmas.

We share the Traditional Christmas tree with our youngest daughter,granddaughter and son in law.

And this same family 

 has a family room and a Living room, so you

guessed it we had the second tree.

Then we had the pleasure of going to our oldest daughter's house

and enjoying her Traditional tree with a slight twist.

What is the slight twist you might ask,

well look closer do you see it?

My daughter's friends decided to name the tree

How Clever of them!

AND THEN WE CAME HOME

and enjoyed our special tree.

Many of you would not like an artifical tree, but it works for us.

My husband no longer can haul a real tree in and out of the house.

And I enjoy changing our ornament colors to match the mood we are in that year.

So everyone has their own special tree and everyone decorates them differently.

No one is right and no one is wrong as long as that perfect tree makes you feel wonderful,

it has done its job for the season.



Winter!

Ahh winter it starts out so light.

Then a couple more inches,

And it covered all the mud and dirt up,

 making a blanket of white,

And it looks so peaceful!

Then the ice comes and makes

such a beautiful photo to be taken!

Have I even mentioned how much ?

"I LOVE WINTER!"

A river runs through it!

This is the thought I had when I saw

this running through a small town near where I live.

Not very big and not very wide but,

it does run through this small town

And during the fall season ,

you can take a nice photo of it!

Moth enjoying his lunch.

This moth was enjoying the dandelions.

 I really thought he was just a dead moth until I saw his wings move.

He flew from this dandelions to the next and so on.

He was indeed a healthy moth just enjoying the day and eating.

Ever wonder what floats over the dam?

How about a log?

Don't they look like part of a face on these doors?

Could life get any better?

Beautiful sunny day, sun reflecting off the water!

Your boat gliding over the water with a gentle breeze to push you along.

Ahh the peace and the quite as you drift onlong on your journey.

I came home to this beautiful sunset.

Notice the colors and I did not adjust those at all.

Then see the X in the Sky, like GOD said

"X marks the spot for heaven."

I just had to share!

Ever take pictures of just odd little things you see?

I took this photo of this small tiny flower,

while I was at association island on vacation.

Or how about a close up of a piece of swamp grass?

Even a milk weed pod makes a pretty picture!

Or change the view and look up!

Clouds can make a nice photo.

Clouds can change from plain to whispy to destinctive in

just a matter of a few minutes.

 Making them a good subject to photography!

Then there are the tress and all of their oddities!

What is this growth upon this tree?

I have no idea but it looks like a rough version of a pine cone,

 but it is the bark.

Can you see the face in this bark?

And to think it actually grew like this!

This one is a little harder to see,

 but there is a face in this one as well.

Photos can be of interesting things around us ,

not just of people and places.
